Birthday bunting

I made this bunting for a 1st birthday present. I cut the letters out of a linen curtain someone had given me and appliqued them on. Each flag had a triangle of patterned fabric backed with a triangle of linen, both cut with the pinking shears, to give a nice soft feel. I also did a matching card.

Really pleased with my first bunting! I made it out of fabric remnants from a curtain shop. It was pretty quick to make and will be perfect for decorating the house for a certain birthday next month!
