Forest fun

Today we had a lovely day out at the Wyre Forest, meeting up with some other 'green parents' at a Forest Fun session. Matilda had a great time exploring pine needles, twigs and dirt on the forest floor - she was so confident on her feet despite the very uneven ground. The activities on offer were really for slightly older children, but Matilda still had a great time roaming around in the forest (and then in the playground after lunch). And I met some lovely mamas and their lovely children - I hope we can meet up again in the not-too-distant future!
